Writing

In addition to the oral history and film making, children have been working with their class teachers to write poems, historical and biographical pieces, all inspired by the people they meet.

This writing has been published in a small booklet and a few have also been recorded on camera by the film team here for you. The children reading their work are Christon, Kellina, Evie, Ishmail, Avigail, Jarrod, Omar, Annie, Jayden and Mikee.

These are just some of the many wonderful pieces of writing the children have done inspired by the project.
